Your Consultation

You will discuss your expectations and what type of lashes will be used on you; The length, width, curl and style you will be getting based on your natural lashes and what they can safely handle and what will best suite your eyeshape. You will also be told about aftercare to maintain your beautiful extensions :)

Your Appointment

When you come in for your appointment you need to have NO make up on. If you come with makeup on, your lash technician will need to take the time to remove it (every single bit that's on your eyes) which will take away from the amount of lashes you will be able to have applied during your appointment timeframe.

Once you are comfy and lying on the lash bed (its like a massage bed), you will be prepped for your application. Prepping includes cleaning the (already clean) lashes with lash shampoo and water. A primer is then put on the lashes after the pads have been put down to secure your lower lashes. At this point the artificial lashes will be applied one by one to your natural lashes.

This should take about 2 hours to complete.

You will need to be still with your eyes closed for this whole time. It can be challenging for the lash artist if the client moves/talks too much as they are using sharp tweezers and strong glue near your eyes. Its great to use this time to take a lash nap :) Relax and enjoy!

Its a good idea to avoid caffeine prior to your apt as it causes you to be more jittery.

What to expect after your appointment

* It is best to use No mascara as it will ruin your lashes and with extensions you don't need it.

If you really feel the need to wear it, apply from the middle to tip and avoid the base of your lashes. You cannot use waterproof mascaras as you need oil based removers to get it off.

*Avoid loose powder shadows and glitter as it can build up along the base of the lashes and is more challenging to clean properly. Liquid and gel liners are best as well because they wont tug on the roots and possibly cause damage.

* Absolutely NO oil products as oil breaks down the adhesive and you will lose your lashes right away. Be careful of face creams, sun screens and hair products as they can transfer on your pillow which can transfer to your lashes. If you use an eye cream try to use in the morning so it has less change of pillow transfer and avoid oil based ones.

* Be careful of oil based makeup products (foundation, primers, eyeliners, shadow) -the oils will breakdown the adhesive

* When removing eye make-up it is best to use a cotton swap to remove eye makeup --cotton pads have fibers that will stick to your lashes.

* no heat (BBQ, lighters, oven, )

* no pulling, rubbing or touching the lashes as the oils on your fingers can break down the adhesive.

* if you're a side or stomach sleeper try to tuck your pillow under your cheek so the friction doesn't remove your lashes. You'll often see the outer corner of the side you sleep on lose lashes the fastest.
